Getting started
When you first open Bump Journey, enter your due date. The app uses it to calculate your current pregnancy week and day and unlocks a photo card for each week. You can capture your weekly bump photo right from the Today tab.
Your weekly photos
Bump Journey keeps one bump photo per day so your timeline stays clean. Each photo is tied to your pregnancy week, so your journey lines up neatly from the first week through the fortieth.
Building your timelapse
As your photos add up, Bump Journey stitches them into a keepsake timelapse video of your whole pregnancy that you can export and share any time. The free version adds a gentle watermark; the one-time Family Lifetime purchase removes it and unlocks Full HD and 4K export.
Tracking more than one journey
You can track more than one pregnancy in Bump Journey — start a new journey any time from Settings and switch between them. Tracking multiple journeys is free.
Reminders and notifications
Bump Journey can send gentle reminders — a nudge for your weekly photo and for week milestones. Turn these on or off any time under Notifications in Settings. Reminders are optional and stay on your device.
Backups & restore
Your photos and details are stored on your device, not on our servers, so they’re included in your normal device backup. If you use iCloud Backup, your journey is backed up according to your iCloud settings, and reinstalling or restoring on the same device brings it back. If you move to a new device without a backup, your entries won’t carry over.
Purchases & restore
Bump Journey offers one optional, one-time purchase — Family Lifetime — with no subscriptions. If you’ve already bought it, tap “Restore Purchases” on the paywall or in Settings → Your Plan to unlock premium on a new install. Purchases and refunds are managed by Apple through the App Store.
Troubleshooting
A few common fixes:
- Wrong week? Double-check your due date in Settings.
- Missing photos? They’re usually on a different device or in a backup that hasn’t been restored yet.
- Timelapse or export not working? Make sure the app is updated to the latest version, then try again.
